Within an hour (our wait was only 10 minutes) you should receive this second email with a link to download your information. You'll get this email below from Facebook to the email address associated with your Facebook account.ħ. You can also find that information here on their help site.Ħ. Click on 'Start My Archive' here and if you're feeling interested, go ahead and check out the 'and more' link down below to see what exactly will be included in your archive of data. You'll be prompted to re-enter your password for security purposes and then yet again, you'll need to click on to start getting your archived information. Towards the bottom of that page, you'll see 'Download a copy of your Facebook Data.' Click there!ĥ. You'll be redirected to your General Settings page where you usually can make changes to your overall profile, security, and settings within the platform. Click on 'Settings' towards the bottom of that menuĤ. In the top right hand corner, click on the downward facing arrow dropdown menuģ. But it's a list you didn't have before.and that's improvement in our books.Ģ. The downside? It's merely a list of names. This includes any photos of you or that you uploaded, any ads you've clicked or posts you shared, and most importantly, your friend list.

There's no easy way around getting that much-desired contact information, and while we've shared a few hacks in the past on how to sneak around Facebook's closed API and get your information exported, we're updating that with another option.albeit not a perfect option but an option nonetheless!įacebook offers you a chance to download all of your information. Unfortunately with the closing of Facebook's API, we're a bit challenged when it comes to plugging your CRM or other apps directly into Facebook to access those contacts. We all know the merits of having a full grasp on your network and all the contacts in your life that make up that network. Yes, it is in fact possible to download your contacts and information out of Facebook and into your contacts/computer/CRM/real life. While all three hacks are still valid ways to export your Facebook friends out of Facebook, we've found another way to export and download all of your Facebook information.including a list of your friends.
